I realize that this is a miniscule amount of snow compared to what the Northeast U.S. and other areas of the world have been going through. As I watched the snow fall my cozy spot on the other side of the window, I realized that we Californian's don't get much opportunity to see it come down. I'm sure I've seen it snow at a ski resort, but never just sat and watch it fall for hours. It looked like feathers floating down from the sky. Years ago, Holland used to get lots of snow, but they tell me they haven't had much for the past 35 years. In fact, I recently read that 2006-2007has been Holland's warmest winter in 300 years.
