Eiffel from across the Seine

Of course, no travellog of Paris is complete without the Eiffel tower. The camera made the sky appear darker than it really was.

I seem to remember that this is related to the Statue of Liberty. I didn't look it up when we saw it. My Paris guidebook is in the Netherlands right now, so I'll have to research it later.
